Red Surveyor Vest With 4″ Tape
If you require a lightweight surveyor vest this “new” product put out by Viking may be what you are looking for.
The style 6165R vest is made from 150 Denier polyester material with double hem stitched pockets and seams to increase wear resistance from washing. The 150 denier fabric is very light weight and so is the price.
Configured with the X on the back for CSA and available in Canada this vest is ideal for conservation officers, site supervisors, professional surveyors and foresters requiring a multi pocket (5 Outside 3 Inside) vest. The assortment of pockets are great for carrying all the tools of the trade and the double hemmed pockets help to keep your possessions from falling out the bottom and causing damage to your equipment. When working in warm environments it is good to know that you will have mesh underarm cooling ventilation panels to help cool down your body heat some.
The red coloured surveyor vests meet the CSA Z96-09 Class 1, Level 2 and ANSI/ISEA 107-2010 Class 1, Level 2 whereas the same vest in yellow or orange would meet Class 2, Level 2 due to the bright coloured background. In situations where Class 1, Level 2 protection is all that’s required it is good to have a different coloured vest so as to stand out from all the orange and yellow (lime green) on the job site. Supervisors are very impressed with this style for this very reason.
Dual chest straps and velcro sealed upper chest pocket are ideal for an ID badge, cell phone or radio. For those who require a long ruler slot pocket this is also positioned on the left back.
