Protect Your Hands – Welding Gloves
Protecting your hands from heat and spatter is what welding gloves are designed to do for you. The best welding gloves combine flexibility, durability and heat resistance depending on the work task. Naturally a thicker glove will offer more protection, while compromising flexibility so the trick is to get the most protection (thicker glove) that still allows you to work as required.
Many welders today use both T.I.G. and M.I.G. processes and for that reason Stanco makes a wide variety of gloves for your choice. There are many options such as Grain Doeskin, Deerskin, Pigskin and Cowhide so depending on the amount of dexterity you require and of course the right protection will help determine what type of welding gloves to choose.
Grain Doeskin, Deer and Pigskin are good choices for T.I.G. welding while you would want to go with a lined Split Cowhide design when M.I.G. welding for the added protection.
You will find many selections to choose from at the following webpage for Stanco welding gloves.
