High Paying Oil Filed Jobs Positive And Negative
The booming oil and gas industry in Alberta, Canada is providing employment opportunities for so many young men. The field career pays wages high enough for families to live on and much more. But the careers in Alberta’s oil and gas sectors do not come without a price.
Many of the men who work in the oil fields need to spend extended periods of time away from their families. Families choose to compromise time together for financial stability.
However, not all families make things work. The isolation of the workers and their distance from their loved ones can cause problems for the workers that may include cheating, alcoholism, addiction, etc.
The distance can also cause marriages to fall apart. But it’s not just the workers in Alberta that face these kinds of problems, jobs at oil fields are generally tough for families so it is important for the workers to understand what they’re getting into.
