Environmental Emissions And The LNG Industry
Emissions are a serious thing. It is not wise to only look at the financial gains today and not look at the long term effects emissions will have on the environment in the future. There needs to be a balanced approach to the industry meaning that financial gain must not outweigh the environment.
LNG is a useful gas and is an alternative to use compared to other fuels and can be useful if it is produced safely. However there must be a synergy established between the corporations and environmentalists to establish an understanding of both sides. At the end of the day the environment should be highly considered as top priority and real steps not “just for show” must be taken to ensure that it is preserved for future generations.
