Drivers Gloves As Grain Or Split Leather

Grain leather driving gloves are made from hides that have not been sanded or buffed to remove imperfections or mark on the surface of the hide that are created by the natural characteristics. The grain remains allowing the fiber good strength, durability and breathability. The breathability of a grain leather glove provides you with less moisture being retained inside the glove and therefore being more comfortable.

Split cowhide comes from the underlying layer of a cow’s skin. The advantage of the split leather is that it will not show as many scars as the outer layer as you can only see the scars from deeper injuries.
This makes for a smoother finish on the following grain cowhide gloves that offer the split leather on the back.
