Corporations are always at the forefront to develop methods to get more while spending less and this article is a classic example of that. To develop a ship that can handle the Arctic route is quite innovative and if it is cheaper for the company overall it makes sense.
The Arctic route is favorable for transport and saves shipping time and costs. However, being a difficult route based on environmental conditions, some changes had to be made and if ships can be adapted to be more efficient in that area then that is a great proposal. If it saves time and shipping costs it makes sense to move forward with the plans.
