Aluminized Rayon Back Welding Gloves
Aluminized back welding gloves have sturdy, heat-reflecting protection and are able to withstand much higher temperatures. The wool lining helps keep the radiant heat away from your skin. These rayon back gloves are best suited for tough rugged jobs, where the need to reflect heat away from the wearer is needed.
If you have had to change gloves several times during an operation just to keep your hands cool – let alone the hardening and cracking of the glove you will like this design. With the heat pads, these welding gloves last a long time, even when burning 1/4 inch rod.
Just remember, as with any welding glove, they are meant to protect from radiant heat and accidental contact, not continued contact with hot items! With the pad, they are quite a bit stiffer than ordinary welding gloves, so it is good to have a variety in the shop.
