Pipeline Containing Condensate Catches Fire

In eastern Ohio a pipeline carrying condensate which is produced oil and gas processing caught fire.

It burned several acres of Monroe County woodland and burned for several hours before before the pipeline pressure dropped low enough for the fire to burn itself out.
The pipeline is owned by a joint venture between Dominion and Caiman Energy II.

The companies use hydraulic fracturing as the method of operation and there is reported to be minimum impact at this point.
This is a small relief for people living in that area as pipeline incidents like these are becoming more common.
