When To Sell Your Oilfield Service Company
Is it a good time to sell your oilfield service company when oil prices are up?
Are you thinking you missed out on the opportunity to sell when profits were good and now oil prices have plummeted?
Then again you may not have missed the boat after all as in the long run the boat has not sailed yet.
Of course the price of oil is highly related to the value of your company but more importantly is the number of prospects interested in buying your assets.
This is kind of like the supply and demand factor but in a different sense. The oil business is a world market and if you have the right technologies and expertise these skills can be utilized world wide.
The best way to go about getting the price you want for your oil services business is to first off do the best you can do in what you do and secondly market your business.
The quality of your skills and work will be shared throughout the oil industry especially with the advent of social platforms used these days like Linkedin.
The price of oil is always going up and unlike the big oil companies, oilfield service companies don’t own a part of the oil reservoirs they service, but only get paid for the work that they do in that field. The large oi companies in other countries are always looking for good quality services providers and are willing to pay for them.
Remember good workers are difficult to find and good business’s are even harder to find.
