Help With Relief Efforts In Tornado-Ravaged Areas
Starkville and Oktibbeha County residents looking for an opportunity to help with relief efforts in many of the tornado-ravaged areas around the state will have another opportunity to do so in neighboring Webster County this week.
This is good to see people helping out those who are in need.
Oktibbeha-Starkville Emergency Response Volunteer Services will be taking a work team into northeastern Webster County on Thursday to help with continued efforts in debris cleanup and removal.
Those going with the Webster County will need to wear comfortable work clothing, hard-soled shoes or work boots and bring work gloves. Team members will also need to either bring a sack lunch or money to purchase lunch at Mathiston-area restaurants.
