Enforcement Guidance for Personal Protective Equipment
What do you think of OSHA’s published final rule 72:64341-64430 that stipulates that the
employer must pay for required personal protective equipment (PPE)?
This has been in works for a while now and the changes to the standard are to help clarify the type of personal protective equipment employers are suppose to provide and pay for at no cost to the employee. There is also guidance for what type of PPE the employer does not have to pay for.
