Wool FR Coveralls Bodyshield
Wool coveralls made in the Bodyshield fabric are provided especially for the aluminum industry in smelters such as Rio Tinto Alcan and Alcoa to provide molten metal splash protection and flame resistance. The wool allows the molten aluminum to “roll” off the fabric which results the metal not being able to penetrate the fabric and also reduces the heat transfer to the person wearing the coveralls.
The options of having a velcro closure on collar and 2 hidden metal buttons in upper front this allows for a tight fitting closure in the neck area. This along with the benefit of a front zipper opening and leg zippers at the leg bottoms for easy on and easy off and a telescopic upper back makes this style of aluminum shedding coveralls quite a comfortable design.
High visibility reflective trim (FR) as yellow,silver,yellow on the arms, lower legs and an X on the back provides the safety striping for low light work conditions.
