How does safety add value to our company?
Let’s look at it from the different angles of a company value.
A consumer who knows that your company gives utmost importance to safety will trust and patronize your company’s products over the other products. He relates that products that are produced in a safe environment is also safe to use or consume. A safety conscious company translates to safe products.
To an employee like you, safety adds value to your company knowing that your employer is concerned about your well-being. You feel content and at ease in your job and are happy to stay with the company for a long time. You give your best to your job and you produce more than expected. You are proud of your company and you show it even outside the premises.
To a competitor, a safety-conscious nemesis is a formidable archenemy. He knows that the enemy has an advantage in terms of products and employee retention and turn-over. He knows that the consumer’s trust is hard to get and tries his best to emulate his competitor.
To the public, a safety-conscious company is a respected institution. They know that the company is a valuable member of the society that contributes to the health, well-being and economy of their community. It is an institution that leaves a legacy of a safe environment and safe members of the productive community.
In short, safety adds a tremendous value to your company and its products as it adds value to its employees, their families and to the community.
